TRAINING

We train from bird introduction and basic obedience to advance handling and steady to wing and shot. While here your dog will be fed the required protein and fat contents it needs to remain healthy and fit. We have been running APLA and AKC tests for 15 years with a high pass rate which is important. Whats even more important to us is that the dogs we campaign run with high desire and style!!

- All dogs must be on Heartworm preventative along with flea and tick preventative

- If needed your dog will receive veterinary care promptly. You are responsible for all bills associated with that care

- Current Vaccinations (rabies-dhlpp-bordetella) Must provide proof of all Vaccinations

Please take a look at the training land that we have access to ! We feel we can teach any concept hunting or hunt test wise with these pieces. While your dog is her they will get several looks retriever and upland wise. Contact us if you have any questions we can do customized programs to fit your training needs! We have many references and believe our record speaks volumes !

Rate $700.00 per month plus the cost of birds.

First month payment due at drop off.

Birds are a big part of our training program. We believe to achieve the best results for your dog the use of birds is very important. It is our experience that the use of birds early and often will help your dog become a bird finding nut that you can be proud of in the field.

All dogs have different learning capacities. Your dog's results will depend on its work ethic and ability to retain the training he or she is receiving.

If it is your desire to run Hunt Tests you may have to join organizations you are not members of, you will have to pay entry fees and you will have paper work to fill out with these organizations. Because of the cost of gas and hotels I do charge fees to cover this expense to run your dog.

Troy
I wanted to say thank you for all the hard work with Mays. After doing the early bird work and getting her CPR title in the fall of 2010 I turned Mays over to Troy and Northstar. Mays arrived at �College� in April of 2011 and received her APR title about 7 weeks later at the Alexandria, South Dakota APLA test. That summer Troy continued to work with Mays and she went 4 for 4 earning her Junior Hunter title. Mays also earned three passes towards her Senior Hunter title that summer including passing a crazy hard test in Glyndon, Minnesota in 95 degree heat. Mays and Troy capped off their 2011 hunt test season with a Master Pointing Retriever pass in Webb, Iowa. All in all, 2011 was a dream season and we couldn�t be happier with the progress Mays has made. We look forward to Mays passing on her great skills with her first litter as the foundation female for our kennel. We are also excited for her to run for her Senior Hunter and Grand Master Pointing Retriever Titles in 2012 with Troy and Northstar! Thanks again for the wonderfully bred and trained dog. We look forward to working with you in the future.
